In 2002 the Roadster-T molds were acquired from Sand Dancer in Webberville, MI, by Berrien, making this unique body style available once again.
The Roadster-T body can be mounted on either a stock VW floor pan that has been shortened to an 80" wheelbase or our Roadster-T square tube chassis .
NOTE: If using a stock VW floor pan, in addition to shortening, you will also need to modify the pedal & shifter position to compensate for the fact that the drivers seat will be positioned further back than the original VW seat.
This non-traditional body features an outer shell in brilliant gel-coat color, with a black inner shell glassed in to create the front and rear firewalls, a hinged rear decklid that provides engine protection without sacrificing access and a straight cut dash with room for gauges and switches.
The Roadster-T is available in 16 solid gel-coat colors.
