What Wheelbase Should I Get?
Wheelbase Choices

Berrien offers 6 wheelbases in sand rails.

 2-seat sand rails -- 90", 95" and 100" wheelbase

4-seat sand rails -- 105", 112" and 115" wheelbase

You choose the wheelbase to fit your purpose; pleasure riding on the street, your brand of off-road, or a combination.  Best for dunes may not be best for long-distance driving.  Best for street and hard-surface may not be best for cross-country or dunes.  The choice is yours to make.

Short wheelbases generally are stronger and turn quicker. The fast reaction can get you facing traffic in a hurry, or set you on your nose when the ground drops away fast, but if you want tight turns, the short wheelbase will be your choice.  The shorter the wheelbase the less likely the chassis will high center, making it better for more rugged off road terrain.

Long wheelbases provide more leg room and/or space for extra gear, plus a smoother ride.  What you lose in rabbit-like maneuverability, you gain in higher-speed stability making the longer wheelbase a better choice for on the street and less rugged off road terrain.
