At last a totally new dual exhaust system available with or without muffler inserts & in 3 finishes.
Unique design allows removal of the muffler insert. This all-metal muffler insert will never wear out or change sound levels. Run this system with the muffler insert installed or remove for increased power and performance. Fits Type 3 (pancake) engines as well as all Type 1.
Not only does the muffler insert reduce noise from this exhaust, it also functions as a spark arrestor.
If you buy a Megadual Exhaust without inserts & later decide you need them, they are available seperately.

This system was designed to add appearance and performance to VW powered vehicles of all types. Integral glass pack mufflers produce a throaty exhaust tone. Dual exhausts are functional on all types of vehicles, such as Baja Bugs, Dune Buggies, Sand Rails and Trikes. This exhaust totally replaces the heater box & fits Type 3 (pancake) engines as well as all Type 1.

These merged exhausts are designed for maximum power and minimum problems. Spring attached system couples merged collector to individual port pipes in a manner designed to absorb vibration.
The high impact protective coating of the ceramic versions is heat fused at 650 degrees creating a virtually impenetrable barrier against corrosion and damage caused by the elements. In addition to increased durability, this coating affords lower operating temperatures and increased horsepower.

Many off-road areas now require some form of spark arrestor to limit the chance of fires and we carry several different assemblies for you to choose from.

For the off-road area that also has noise regulations, this model includes a muffler & clamps to exhausts with a 2"diameter outlet.
Available in two versions, with bracket (not shown) & without bracket.
The version with the bracket is recommended for upright stingers, due to the potential for the stinger to break, from the weight of the spark arrestor if it isn't supported. The version without the bracket can be safely used on exhausts with a 45 degree downtube.
